This is the lead track off Hello Damascus’s debut album Harvest Dolls, a consistently pretty and unassuming vinyl-only release of soft-edged folk-pop tunes. Singer Matt Lounsbury, here sounds a bit like the National’s Matt Berninger minus the asshole affectation. The track also features Lisa Molinaro of Talkdemonic…on vocals!
Hello Damascus plays tonight at the Ash Street with the Whale and the Janglies.
