Grey Anne: We’re On a Frequency (with free mp3 download!)
You super-sleuths have probably already surmised that at this point, I’ve been back in town for some time. Why does the tour keep posting, then?
Well, even though I wrote most of it from the road, Casey and Michael are men, not machines. Reading and posting all my stuff over—and culling from the depths of the text, the quotes that most embarrass me—has taken them time.
I am a machine, but a slightly erratic one. Fits and starts. Power surges. Hourglass…thinking….
A lot to say about the Napa show. Napa is not forgotten, but I need to organize. In the meantime, this recording was just sent to me from San Francisco. Thought I’d post it over. What did someone say the other day? “Less talking about music, more music.” I compute that.
Here’s a short show where we each just played 4 songs. It’s pretty raw, as live recordings often are, but it captures some of the energy of the show, and is a nice depiction of how our three acts shared the stage.
