It’s Official: The Dandy Warhols Are Playing a Free Show Tonight at Rontoms
So, it turns out the rumors are true: I just got an email from Chris Hnat of 230 Publicity confirming that the Dandy Warhols—the band everyone in town loves to hate—are indeed playing a FREE show tonight at Rontoms. And I have to say, I’m pretty excited.
On Friday, word started to spread on Twitter that the Warhols would be playing an, unannounced show this weekend—one aided by posts on both PDX Pipeline and End Hits. I was too busy finishing the MFNW guide and still a bit skeptical until this afternoon when the official word came in. Dust off your spacesuit and pick out your best pair of skinny jeans, because, you know, “Everyday Should Be a Holiday.”
The Dandy Warhols play tonight at Rontoms with Ded Pidgeon and Morning Teleportation. 9 pm. Free. 21+.

says:I gotta say, it was really nice. I had a busy night and next mornin’ so I didn’t make it all the way, but the band sounded great and it was a pretty cool/respectful crowd. I gotta give big ups to the Dandy’s on this one. Morning Teleportation was pretty amazing, too.
