This edition of These Are The Days features music by artists performing at this year’s MusicFestNW. Now in its 9th year, MFNW is a great opportunity for Portland bands to share stages with national and international acts and this year, MFNW really does have something for everyone.

With over 200 artists performing at more than a dozen venues, they don’t make it easy for you to decide what to attend. Take for example Friday of the festival, where this year you have your choice between legends. Who’s it gonna be? The hugely influential Bad Brains? Or one of the first performances in a decade by the original Sunny Day Real Estate lineup ? Tough one, right? But you’re bound to walk away with memories no matter what decision you make.

On this podcast you’ll hear everything from the knock down drag out punk rock of Defect Defect and the synth synth of Atole to the always compelling Scout Niblett and the ever-charming Ah Holly Fam’ly.
