I have decided to do a live dj jam session for all of you today. As if you were actually at the club and dancing to my beeeeet! But you’re not so I’ll just pick a BPM (beat per min) and go for it. I’m really trying NOT to stick to any specific genre here. So the mix will definitely go places you probably don’t want it to. Unless you are rad like me and have impeccable taste. Enjoy!

[Exciting news for dance music and sci-fi fans! Portland DJ DMoe Funk has been kind enough to give LocalCut exclusive rights to his pod—excuse me, spaceast, the Discositdown. I'll let Funk explain the show for himself, but I will say that his resume includes a long stint doing a popular radio show of the same name at Eugene's KWVA station, and that his work includes some of the craziest stuff I've ever heard in recorded form. You can listen to back-episodes and get tracklistings at Discositdown.com. Also, Funk is always on the lookout for hot local beats (of the dance/electronic and summer-jam hip-hop variety), so hit him up with suggestions at dmoefunk at hotmail dot com. Deep in space, a rouge space ship called the Discositdown ventures forward. In search of hype jams and the most cutting edge electronic music. Crewmembers DMoe Funk and Robot host a weekly podcast broadcasted live from the far reaches of the galaxy.
