Tom Biscardi is arguably the most vilified man in the subculture of Bigfoot enthusiasts and researchers. Cast by many cryptozoologists as a two-bit huckster, the former Vegas promoter will be in Portland later this month to lecture and show clips from a new documentary, “Bigfoot Lives.”
Besides the surprising fact that the “Bigfoot community” has its own rogues and outsiders, we’ll bet you didn’t know that Portland was home to the International Bigfoot Society (which meets monthly at Home Plate in North Portland). Or that, accoring to the IBS sightings database,, Oregon ranks No. 1 for reports to the (perhaps) legendary hominid—second-ranked Washington has fewer than half as many sightings.
“Bigfoot Lives,” directed by Todd Douglas Bailey, sells for $30 at Biscardi’s web store. The documentary offers something for everybody—Biscardi-bashers, believers and fence-straddlers. Biscardi and his team travel across the country documenting possible sightings, speaking with eye-witnesses, taking footprint casts, playing “actual” recordings of the creature to lure others and aiming night-vision cameras at the deep, dark woods. Biscardi estimates there are 3,500 Bigfoot (Bigfoots? Bigfeet?) roaming the US in migratory patterns.

Let’s assume for argument’s sake that Bigfoot is an undiscovered primate, quite possibly the ancestor of Gigantopithecus blacki. If this is the case, then there is no way to substantiate how many “Bigfeet” exist in the wild. Grover Krantz, a prominent Anthropologist could only give estimates himself based on years of primate research. We don’t know its migratory or reproductive patterns, nor can we scientifically provide a specimen. It’s all assumption and speculation. So, I guess what I’m saying is, educate yourself and don’t believe the hype.
Much more is known about the Bigfoot people, than what Tom is aware. Just for starters, they are 4th dimensional people, with the ability to visit our simple 3 dimensional world at will. Other 4th dimensional people include wood gnomes and leprechauns. In the 60’s and 70’s, scientists at UC Berkeley studied two live bigfoot specimens in holding cells, that were held at Lawrence Livermore National Labs for a DOD study. As a result of that research, the previous 4th dimension of TIME, was downgraded to the 5th dimension. The 4th dimension then was used to describe how the 4th dimensional people became invisible to us 3 dimensional homo sapiens. The 4th dimension is a sub-atomic vibrational dimension, that not only affects the light emitted by the 4D object, but controls its ability to exist in the same space as 3D objects to varying degrees.
Oregon is believed by some to have a Bigfoot population in the vicinity of 1 million. The little people also exist in similar large numbers and have been photographed by this author. Populations can be estimated by a process informally labeled as road farming. In that process, bigfoot are called in by using actual Bigfoot calls. The bigfoot numbers are counted by the noises that they make. Based upon the volume of the speaker system and frequency of stops, the Bigfoot population can be estimated. All 4th dimensional people are generally benevolent, are telepathic, are very sensitive, are easily scared, do understand english, do often attempt to communicate with us, are believed to have an Orb phase and are not a threat to us, unless we intend to be a threat to them. Hunters, who often think that they can kill anything in the woods, are the most likely homo sapiens to get in trouble with the Bigfoot. This is primarily due to their lack of respect for Bigfoot as people. 4th dimensional spirit people. Which is very similar to how the Indians have described them for 1000’s of years. The Bigfoot will be your camping buddy, if you ask them to. The little people, will stay at your home for awhile, if you ask them to. They are all very friendly and it hurts them that we are afraid of them, when they just want to make new friends.
The Bergfreunde Ski Club of Portland, Oregon, has added a Bigfoot activity as part of one of their summer camping weekends. It has been extremely successful at contacting the Bigfoot, calling them in and recently, communicating with them. The Bigfoot that were contacted did indicate without hesitation, that they wished to be the friends with the people that came out to meet them. Which is good news for all.
