After months of protests opposing the new Planned Parenthood facility in Northeast at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Beech Street,, one group is coming out to demonstrate in support of the future health center.
The newly-formed Portland Feminist Action League is holding two events in the next couple of weeks to voice opposition to the anti-abortion protesters that swarm NE MLK Blvd. almost every day.
The new group will host a sign-making party on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 3 p.m. at Outside In, 1132 SW 13th Ave. and will demonstrate in support of Planned Parenthood at the site on November 9 at 9:30 a.m.
