When Beau first met Sam he was a legislative intern and early graduate of high school.
After Sam’s ‘mentoring’ Beau has become a convicted felon. Also, he has been willing to lie for his ‘mentor’ and was coached by professionals to do so.
Boys and girls who are abused by or taken advantage of by adults often have no idea of the damage that has been done to them. Beau may well not be able to see the influence his ‘relationship’ with the Mayor had on the trajectory of his life.
I think Sam should, at the very least, be willing to pay for a year or two of college for this young man. From where sit it looks like he took at least that much away from this young man’s future.
And now to think that Beau is not the leasing manager of my townhomes… I see him all the time and exchange greetings. He has the most fashionable shirts! =P
