Remember in May when Gov. Ted Kulongoski announced with great fanfare at City Club of Portland his emergency jobs program to deal with Oregon’s soaring unemployment.

Well, don’t feel too bad if you forgot. As noted here by The Oregonian, Kulongoski’s fellow Democrats in the Legislature also forgot about the idea, adjourning the session without even taking up the idea.
