Here’s Part II of WW’s June 30 interview with Attorney General John Kroger. In this segment, Kroger discusses Mayor Sam Adams’ level of cooperation with the investigation along with Beau Breedlove’s motives (Since WW’s interview earlier this week with Kroger, Breedlove has given his own interview with KGW in which he asks what his motive would be to lie)

Check back throughout the week for new video installments of WW’s interview with Kroger.

  1. Leslie says:

Interesting that the AG is actually sticking to facts here–not something that he has been a stickler for so far in his name-making campaign.

  2. tangible says:

Kroger’s investigation has shown that Sam is a better liar than Beau. In Kroger’s rationale to maintain “transparency” in their investigation, they seem to have allowed for greater deception. It makes no sense that waiting over two months for phone records and emails would be more reliable than obtaining records immediately. How does waiting over two months for these records allow for greater “transparency?” The more Kroger attempts to defend himself and justify the extent of this investigation, only more questions arise. This interview suggests that Beau the victim was more on trial than Sam the perpetrator. The city of Portland seems to be the greatest victim in this injustice. Sam has made a mockery of his office, has misled the people of Portland, and has divided and damaged Portland beyond belief.
