Retail Therapist loves the pop-up shop concept and wishes it wasn’t mostly limited to designer clothing. How about a pop-up bakery? A pop-up magazine stand? A pop-up…bathing suit shop? Wait, that’s a terrible idea. Anyway, as was just reported on the Mercury’s design blog, Portland Fashion Synergy—the people behind the recent FUSE fashion event—are opening a store on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 401 SW Morrison. It will be called Flurry, and will sell local clothing, jewelry and accessory designers’ wares. The opening party is this Thursday (Nov. 12) at 5pm. The store will be open through Dec. 31. Flurry, 401 SW Morrison St.
